Rotary Club of Northwest Oklahoma City
NW OKC Rotary club is one of 14,000 clubs with 1.5 million world-wide men and women members. Our motto is "Service Above Self" and we live by the 4-Way Test of the things we think, say, and do. We are a service organization with friendship, fellowship, and philanthropy. NW OKC Rotary Club has 25 active members and we are one of 12 clubs in the OKC area. The club is made up of men and women committed to the ideals of Rotary.
Our 2 major fundraising activities are the Santa Project at Christmas and the Easter Bunny Project at Easter. All members give of their time and resources to each project. Last year, we raised $70,000 and then gave it all away in grants to 25 various charities and community organizations. The club also participates in other activities such as cleaning trash at Stinchcomb Park, helping at a local food bank, an annual blood drive, and a sailing/fishing event at Lake Hefner for the NW Boys and Girls Club Club, just to name a few.
